Autumn collection by Pomppa
The designers at Pomppa have just one goal: to make sure your dog enjoys a nice walk outside in all kinds of weather. With their perfect fit, great protection against wind and weather and freedom of movement, Pomppa’s dog coats will make your dog instantly happy. In addition, the designers make sure dog owners can look out for brand new, beautiful and trendy prints and colours every year. This autumn, the Finnish brand presents Cosmos, Violet & Curry.
New catalogue
Pomppa likes to combine ergonomic and sturdy dog coats with beautiful, vibrant colours and cheerful prints. The design of coats don’t change – because why change winning design – but the Finnish brand does come up with new colours and prints every year on top of the standard palette. In fact, all Pomppa dog coats are available in Plum, Orange, Petrol and Graphite. For the ‘new’ colours, the rule always applies: stocks are limited. As a result, chances are you can’t order the same colours and prints that were released last year. And if you’re enthusiastic about a newly released print or colour, it might be smart to order extra now, to prevent missing out in the next year.
Cosmos print
New to the 22-23 collection is the print Cosmos, designed by Johanna Rautiainen. The illustrator found her inspiration in the increasingly dark nights of autumn. ‘The idea was to achieve a sense of joy, that the product could bring joy and light around it even in the dark autumn weather, and make your walk outside even more colourful’, Johanna says. This is not the first time Pomppa has worked with a young, fresh illustrator. Previously, illustrator Venla Vaattovaara was brought in while she was studying in the Netherlands. She came up with the successful print Kartta. Almost all Pomppa’s dog coats and mackintoshes are now available in both the print Kartta and the print Cosmos.

Curry & Violet
Also new to this year’s collection are the colours Violet and Curry. All dog coats and mackintoshes for the season 22-23 are also available in the colour Curry and Violet – in addition to the colours Plum, Orange, Petrol and Graphite. The fleece dog jumper JumppaPomppa has no prints, but is all available the colours Violet, Curry, Petrol, Orange, Choco, Plum and Graphite.
Path to sustainability
Earlier this year, Pomppa announced that it has signed the Finnish Carbon Neutral Textile 2035 alliance. With this, the manufacturer commits to fabricating trendy and comfortable dog coats in a carbon-neutral way. With the collection 22-23, the Finnish brand is well on its way. Since this season, the outer fabric of all dog coats and the insulating layer in the ToppaPomppa are made of 100% recycled polyester.
