We are going to Interzoo again!
It’s finally possible again: from May 24 to 27 you can go to Interzoo, the international trade fair filled with leading pet products in Nuremberg, Germany. Absolutely worth a visit for every dog trainer, pet store and outdoor store with an eye for dog lovers. And NOHO agency, DOG Copenhagen, Orbiloc, Pomppa, Owney Outdoor and Bandee by Owney will be there this year!
Over 1,300 exhibitors
At Interzoo 2022 no less than 1,300 exhibitors from more than 60 countries will come together. Here you can discover the latest and most innovative products for pets. You will get an overview of the latest pet food products, care aids and accessories for dogs, but also for other pets, such as cats, birds, fish and terrarium animals. The leading trade show is a barrel of inspiration for anyone working within the pet industry.

The biennial trade fair had to be organized digitally in 2020 due to coronation measures, but this year it will take place as usual on the exhibition grounds of NürnbergMesse. The handy Interzoo app is new, which allows you to have the fair in your pocket:
- Ticket Wallet: with your digital admission ticket you have an almost contactless access to the fair.
- Personalized fair planner: create an individual checklist and benefit from route suggestions.
- QR code scanning: exchange digital business cards and receive digital information about products and companies.
- Appointment function: easily make appointments with other visitors and registered exhibitors.
- Interactive map: always find your way through Interzoo with this map.

Pomppa on the road to carbon neutrality
Pomppa has signed the Finnish Carbon Neutral Textile 2035 covenant. By doing so, the sympathetic producer of dog coats promises to work hard for hip and comfortable dog coats that are manufactured carbon neutrally. According to CEO Minna Hyrsky, this fits in with the company’s core values: “We want to learn and improve ourselves every day, so that we can leave a positive footprint.”
High sustainability bar
Finland has big ambitions: it wants to be completely carbon neutral by 2035. The Finnish business community is taking the lead in this ambition with sector-specific roadmaps for a low-carbon economy. The Carbon Neutral Textile 2035 alliance was conceived by employers’ organization Suomen Tekstiili & Muoti ry. Within the alliance, several Finnish textile and fashion brands are actively working together to find ways to reduce their climate impact. They receive tools, training and guidance to work together to make the sector carbon neutral by 2035.
Sustainable dog coats
The Carbon Neutral Textile 2035 alliance fits perfectly with Pomppa’ ambitions. “This is just one step on our path to becoming a more sustainable company, but an important one”, says Minna Hyrsky, CEO of Pomppa. “This alliance provides us with a set of tools and a shared goal, but we also know that this is not enough. We want to set more ambitious goals for our activities, because more climate action is needed at a much faster pace.” With the Carbon Neutral Textile 2035 alliance, Pomppa aims to identify and target its own carbon emissions with effective actions.

To leave a more positive footprint, Pomppa is working on more responsible ways of working and producing in a variety of ways.
